On Board a State of the Art Catamaran
The tour takes place from the stylish deck of a state-of-the-art catamaran. We’ll take you to the Outer Reef where the marine life is rich, giving you plenty of time to soak up the amazing scenery of this world heritage listed reef.
To kick off your day of adventure, meet us at the Marlin Jetty. When we set sail, you’ll get fuelled up with a hearty BBQ for breakfast – think egg and bacon rolls, fruit platters, and ample tea and coffee.
Introduction to Snorkelling and Diving
As we make our way to the Outer Reef, our knowledgeable and experienced guides will show you how to use your snorkel and dive equipment. You’ll get a detailed safety briefing and a simple demonstration, before learning about the biology of the region in a fun and fascinating presentation.
The Best Dive Sites
Unlike a lot of other Great Barrier Reef tours, we wait until the day to determine which reef to take you to, depending on the weather and conditions. However, the main sites we visit are Hastings Reef, Breaking Patches, Norman Reef, and Saxon Reef. These are all world-class dive sites that offer plenty of colourful marine life and mesmerizing scenery.
Explore the Waters
When we’ve settled in at our dive site, you’ll get to explore the waters of the Great
Afterwards, you’ll take your first dive, swimming alongside colourful fish, ancient turtles, and other fascinating creatures.
Lunch On Board
Lunch will be served onboard the catamaran to refuel you for the afternoon. Once you’ve tucked into a delicious BBQ and an assortment of salads, we’ll take you to your second dive site, where you can spend another incredible two hours exploring the scenery.
